The 57 ª Bologna Children’s Book Fair will take place from 4 to 7 May. The international event, one of the most important in the publishing sector for children and young people, which should have been held from 30 March to April 2, has been moved by a month. The announcement of the postponement – as a precautionary measure in compliance with the measures adopted for the Covid emergency – 19 coronavirus – was communicated by Bologna Fiere Group (info and updates on: bolognachildrensbookfair.com). The Bologna Licensing Trade Fair, the fair, concurrent with that of publishing, dedicated to licenses, will also be held from 4 to 5 May. The Salone del Mobile was moved from April to June (from 16 to 21) from Milan.
Postponed, but with dates in some cases still to be defined also other events scheduled in February and March in the fairgrounds of Bologna, Modena and Ferrara: Sealogy, the first European exhibition dedicated to blue economy , sled from March to November and will be held from 20 to 22 at Ferrara Fiere Congressi; skip, and there is still no new date, Unimore Orienta, orientation initiative of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (scheduled for 25 March at Modena Fiere) . Again in Emilia-Romagna, Buk Festival, an exhibition dedicated to small and medium-sized publishing that was supposed to take place from 5 to 9 March, was postponed to May. In Piedmont, the Orient Festival was canceled, which was scheduled at the Lingotto in Turin at the end of March and which has not yet been rescheduled on other dates.
In Verona the Verona Mountain Film Festival which was to be held in these days has been canceled, as well as in Lombardy I Boreali-Nordic festival, an international festival scheduled for Thursday 27 February to Sunday 1 March in Milan.
